This section describes Wollenberg’s processing of personal data about visitors on our website DS-Wollenberg.com. The website exists to inform you about our company, products, services, and partnerships and to let you contact us.

Wollenberg only uses your personal data to send you product information, newsletters and other marketing material by e-mail if you have given your prior and explicit consent to this, unless applicable law allows us to contact you without such consent (Article 6, paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Regulation, letter a).

Personal information that has been collected through contact forms, as well as other correspondence, is as a rule deleted after 1 year, unless the correspondence relates to an order or a legal claim. The storage period is set based on our legitimate interest in providing customer service or handle a legal claim (Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).
Personal information included in bookkeeping material, including documentation of orders, is stored for 5 years from the end of the financial year, after which the information is deleted. The storage period is determined based on the storage requirements in Section 10 of the Accounting Act and is therefore done to comply with applicable legislation (Article 6, subsection 1, letter c of the Data Protection Regulation).
Documentation for your marketing legal consent is kept for 2 years from when you have withdrawn your consent to receive direct marketing material. The storage period is set based on Wollenberg’s legitimate interest in being able to document that direct marketing has taken place in accordance with applicable legislation (Article 6, subsection 1, letter f of the Data Protection Regulation).
3. Contact persons at Wollenberg’s B2B customers, suppliers, distributors, and other business partners
This section describes Wollenberg’s policy for processing personal data collected from owners of sole proprietorships or contact persons of Wollenberg’s B2B customers, suppliers, distributors, and other business partners who work with Wollenberg.

In addition, the processing of your personal data may be based on our legitimate interest in handling inquiries and other requests, conducting marketing activities (where consent is not required), providing customer service, ensuring solvency, handling disputes, developing and evaluating our products and services, and performing statistics and analyses (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).
Wollenberg’s processing of your personal data may in some cases also be necessary to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the Data Protection Regulation).

4. Disclosure to other data controllers and entrustment to data processors
As a rule, Wollenberg does not pass on your personal data to other data controllers, unless there is a business-related need for this, e.g. because the passing on is necessary to handle an order or your inquiry to us. However, under certain circumstances and in accordance with the legislation, it may be necessary to pass on information to authorities, e.g. the Danish Customs and Tax Administration. Disclosure may also take place if it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
In certain cases, Wollenberg entrusts your personal data to our suppliers (data processors), who provide relevant services on Wollenberg’s behalf, e.g. IT suppliers and suppliers of marketing services. Such service providers will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions.
If your personal data is transferred to data processors or data controllers established in countries outside the EU/EEA that do not have a sufficient level of protection, such a transfer will be based on the EU Commission’s standard contract provisions.
